Description
KPV is a synthetic peptide fragment derived from alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (a-MSH), known for its strong anti-inflammatory and healing-supporting properties. In the body, KPV primarily functions by reducing the production and activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines—key signaling molecules involved in driving inflammation and tissue damage. By calming inflammation at the cellular level, KPV can help prevent excessive immune responses, encourage tissue repair, and support recovery in conditions such as autoimmune disorders, chronic wounds, and gastrointestinal inflammation. It may also assist with histamine-related concerns by stabilizing mast cells, helping to limit histamine release.

KPV works by interacting with melanocortin receptors located on various cell types, including immune cells and those within the digestive tract. Through this interaction, it can help regulate immune activity, reduce oxidative stress, and strengthen barrier tissues like the skin and intestinal lining. Its targeted approach to controlling inflammation—without broadly suppressing immune function—makes KPV a promising option for supporting recovery and managing inflammatory conditions in a balanced and effective way.
