Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of the amino acids alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). Originally developed by Russian researcher Vladimir Khavinson, it was designed from epithalamin, a naturally occurring extract derived from the pineal gland.
